Install casebook.vet as an app
Add casebook.vet to your home screen and it behaves like any other app — full screen, its own icon, and an alert the moment a colleague replies. No app store, no download, about 20 seconds.
Why install it
Three things you only get once casebook.vet is on your home screen.
Instant alerts
Know the moment someone comments on your case or sends you a message — without keeping a tab open.
One tap to open
Your own icon on the home screen, opening full screen with no browser bars in the way.
Nothing to download
It installs straight from the website. No App Store, no Play Store, no updates to chase.
Step by step
Pick your device below — we’ve opened the right one for you.
You must use Safari — Chrome and Firefox on iOS can’t install web apps. Notifications need iOS 16.4 or later.
Open casebook.vet in Safari
Go to casebookvet.com in Safari. If you’re reading this in another browser on your iPhone, copy the address and open it in Safari first.
Tap the Share button
It’s the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen on iPhone or the top on iPad.
Choose “Add to Home Screen”
Scroll down the share sheet until you see it. If it isn’t there, tap “Edit Actions” and switch it on.
Tap Add
Name it whatever you like — “casebook” is the default — then tap Add. The icon appears on your home screen.
Open it from the home screen
This part matters: open casebook.vet from the new icon, not from Safari. Notifications only work in the installed app.
Turn on notifications
In the app, go to Settings → Push alerts and tap “Turn on notifications”, then allow when iOS asks. Your icon will now show a badge for unread alerts and messages.
If something isn’t working
Already installed? Turn alerts on from Settings → Push alerts.
